Friday, July 31, 2020 - 12:47pm
In December 2019, Pitt Information Technology migrated the University’s network to a new domain name system (DNS). This change increased redundancy and resiliency, as part of Pitt IT’s ongoing efforts to improve effectiveness and efficiencies. On December 7, 2020, the University will complete the migration. After this date, servers with manually configured, outdated DNS addresses will no longer function.
