Apple has announced a recall of some older generation 15-inch MacBook Pro computers due to an issue that may cause their batteries to overheat and pose a safety risk.

Apple advises customers to visit apple.com/support/15-inch-macbook-pro-battery-recall to determine if their MacBook Pro is affected. Owners of affected computers can receive a free battery replacement.
