Starting in late January, the vendor for Online Survey System (Qualtrics) will begin a rolling update to the service’s library system used to organize surveys, graphics, files, and messages. Once completed, all library resources that are categorized in folders will be accessible from a single, left-hand side navigation menu that can be organized as desired, such as by projects and use cases.

To prepare for this update, all Qualtrics users are encouraged to review their current content before the end of January and migrate any uncategorized items into folders. Organizing this content now will make it easier to locate within the navigation menu once the update is complete.

Access your library in Qualtrics from the upper-left hand side:

1. Login to Qualtrics through myPitt (my.pitt.edu).
2. Click the three-lined Main Menu icon in the upper left corner of the homepage. then select Library from the drop-down list.
   Note: By default, your personal library will be displayed.   
3. Click your name, then select another library you can access from the drop-down list.
4. Click a library resource category from the horizontal menu ribbon (Survey Library, Graphics Library, Files Library, Messages Library).
5. Click Uncategorized from the left-hand side menu. If uncategorized Items are displayed on the right:
   • Click + New Folder, then give the folder a name that will identify its contents.
     Note: Repeat this step as needed to create folders for all uncategorized items.
   • Drag and drop uncategorized items into the folder.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 for all library resources.

After Qualtrics completes its update, any uncategorized content will be placed in the main Qualtrics Library as Uncategorized. For more information about library organization visit Qualtrics.
