New 64-bit Pulse Secure Client Allows Use of PittNet VPN with macOS Catalina

Tuesday, November 26, 2019 - 14:45

In mid-October, Apple announced the release of macOS Catalina, the latest version of its operating system. Unlike previous versions of macOS, Catalina does not support 32-bit apps. As a result, those using the Catalina OS and the 32-bit Pulse Secure client experienced connectivity issues with the PittNet VPN.

A 64-bit version of the Pulse Secure client for Mac has been tested and is now available through the Software Download Service (software.pitt.edu). If you would like to use PittNet VPN with Catalina, please download and install the 64-bit version of the Pulse Secure client.
