Microsoft has introduced a Zoom for Outlook Add-in that replaces the previous Zoom Plugin for Outlook as the supported method for creating Zoom meetings through Outlook. Migrating to the add-in reduces the possibility of Outlook crashes and provides enhanced security.  

Pitt IT recommends that individuals who schedule Zoom meetings through Outlook upgrade to the Microsoft Zoom for Outlook Add-in by following the instructions on our Zoom Videoconferencing webpage under the Scheduling a Meeting heading in the From Outlook option.
