License Renewal Required for Perceptive Content Scanner Beginning May 30

On Tuesday, May 30, the scanner license structure for Document Management (Perceptive Content) will be updated to meet the terms in our vendor contract. As a result, the update will release all current scanner licenses from use and require the installation of an updated license/token. Pitt IT has contacted known users directly with this information. 

Once this update takes place, a pop-up message will appear the first time a user completes a scan to Perceptive Content. Before a scan can continue, the user must click “Yes” to verify they have permission as a local administrator for the machine and can install the software license/token. If a user is not a local administrator, they should request assistance from their departmental IT resource or contact the Technology Help Desk.
