On Tuesday, May 30, the scanner license structure for Document Management (Perceptive Content) will be updated to meet the terms in our vendor contract. As a result, the update will release all current scanner licenses from use and require the installation of an updated license/token. Pitt IT has contacted known users directly with this information.
Once this update takes place, a pop-up message will appear the first time a user completes a scan to Perceptive Content. Before a scan can continue, the user must click “Yes” to verify they have permission as a local administrator for the machine and can install the software license/token. If a user is not a local administrator, they should request assistance from their departmental IT resource or contact the 24/7 IT Help Desk.
