Pitt Information Technology is pleased to share that we are working with the vendor rSmart to introduce a refreshed appearance to myPitt beginning at 11 p.m. on Saturday, May 11. The myPitt upgrade will offer a streamlined user interface and improved operational efficiency.

Most functionality and features of myPitt will work the same way, though there are some minor changes to note:
- Tasks have smaller icons without campus information and appear in a new, less prominent page section.
Note: In preparation for the update, users should note that their current myPitt favorites will be copied during the evening of Friday, May 10. - University announcements appear in a new right-hand menu section.
- Rotating banner announcements with images have a new global announcement type that includes an image and will no longer be called Featured Tasks.
- The Campus & Roles selection will move to the right-hand side drop-down list for your Profile.
- Categories will move to the left-hand side of the page.
A Seamless Transition for Users
No action is required by users beyond refreshing their active browser session to see the new experience. The address and reference links to the current myPitt will not change.
