Effective 9 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2022, modern web browsers like Chrome, Safari, and Firefox can be used to access the ProShip webpage on both Windows and macOS devices. Previously, the ProShip webpage could only be accessed using Internet Explorer. Pitt Information Technology has worked with the service provider to resolve the issue that prevented us from extending ProShip to modern web browsers in February.
In addition, logging in to ProShip will no longer utilize Pitt Passport, the University’s single sign-on service. Instead, users will be prompted in a separate window to enter their University username (note: not email address) and password.
