Voice Mail

The University offers voice mail service to faculty and staff including a variety of standard features such as personalized greetings, envelope information, and forwarding of messages.

Using the Voice Mail to Email Service


Voice Mail to Email is available to faculty and staff and can be used with either My Pitt Email. It will automatically send your voice mail messages to email. Messages that you read will be marked as read in both your voice mail and email simultaneously, and messages that you delete will be deleted in both your voice mail and email simultaneously.

Email: Read My Pitt Email on your phone or tablet

You can set up your smartphone or tablet to access your My Pitt Email. We recommend you connect your mobile device using ActiveSync. ActiveSync is the most commonly used connection method and allows you to access your email, calendar, and contacts.

Computrace LoJack: Using Computrace LoJack to Protect Your Windows Laptop


This document explains how to use Computrace LoJack for Laptops® to help in the recovery of your Windows laptop in the event of theft or loss. LoJack is a software application available at no cost to University of Pittsburgh students and allows your laptop to be traced in the event that it is ever lost or stolen.
