Does an email alias replace my official University email address?

No. Your official University email address does not change or go away if you decide to create an email alias. An email address is just another address that can be used in addition to your University email address.

InCommon Federation: Participant Operational Practices

Participation in the InCommon Federation ("Federation") enables a federation participating organization ("Participant") to use Shibboleth identity attribute sharing technologies to manage access to on-line resources that can be made available to the InCommon community. One goal of the Federation is to develop, over time, community standards for such cooperating organizations to ensure that shared attribute assertions are sufficiently robust and trustworthy to manage access to important protected resources.

Using Compatibility View in Internet Explorer 10

The most recent version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer Web browser, Internet Explorer 10, comes bundled with Windows 8. Some Web sites may not yet work correctly in Internet Explorer 10, including the Secure Remote Access service. You can still use these Web sites in Internet Explorer 10 by turning on Compatibility View.

To turn on Compatibility View:
