The Chancellor’s Annual Staff and Faculty Appreciation Picnic is back

The Chancellor’s Annual Staff and Faculty Appreciation Picnic returns on Friday, June 3, 2022, after a two-year hiatus. The event, usually held on Bigelow Boulevard, will instead be at Posvar Patio and Schenley Drive this year.

From noon to 2 p.m., faculty and staff can let loose to celebrate the year’s successes — and each other — with food, music, games and activities. There will also be raffle prizes and giveaways.

For those traveling into Oakland for the picnic, the University of Pittsburgh will validate parking in the Soldiers and Sailors Parking Garage between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. To do so, inform the attendant before returning to your car, show your Pitt ID and share that you were at the picnic.

Attendees are encouraged to show their Pitt pride by wearing blue and gold attire and must RSVP for the picnic by May 27. Prizes include gift baskets, Pitt swag, parking passes, Pitt Mainstage tickets, signed sports memorabilia, University Club membership, tickets to concerts like Jason Aldean, New Kids on the Block, Jurassic World Live and much more.
