Getting Started: New Students | Returning Students | 24/7 Support
MyResNet is the free high-speed Wi-Fi network in residence halls. It's capable of accommodating up to ten devices per student, for streaming music and video, as well as online gaming.

MyResNet is available to students in residence halls and University-owned housing on the Pittsburgh campus.

Get Started for New Students
- Before you arrive on campus, visit MyResNet.com and sign up for an account using your Pitt email address.
Important: Choose a username or password that is different than your University Computing Account username and password. - Register all the devices you plan to connect.
- Turn off Private Addresses on your iOS 14, watchOS 7, and Android 10 devices.
- After you arrive, connect to the network named “MyResNet”. Do not use the networks named "Eduroam" and "Pitt Guest Wi-Fi Setup".

Get Started for Returning Students
- Visit MyResNet.com and log in using the MyResNet account you created last year.
Note: If you don’t remember your login credentials, you can click the Forgot Username or Password? link to retrieve them. - Renew your plan and register all the devices you plan to connect.
- Turn off Private Addresses on your iOS 14, watchOS 7, and Android 10 devices.
- After you arrive, connect to the network named “MyResNet”.
