Overview
Sensitive documents and computer files can be vulnerable to a theft or accidental exposure if not kept physically secured. Desktops and servers located in open, public areas or in offices that are unattended and unlocked can be easily taken. Laptops that are left unattended without being secured by a cable lock can also be quickly stolen.
Computers that are left unattended and left on can also be accessed by anyone who can gain access to them. Anyone could search for and take files on the computer or read your email.
