UPMC has resolved the issue with their network that earlier affected the ability of some users to access UPMC Web sites and email. All services have been restored.

An issue related to UPMC’s network is affecting the ability of some users to access UPMC Web sites and email. UPMC is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it as quickly as possible. We are monitoring the situation and will update this post with more information as it becomes available.
