Microsoft has resolved the issue that affected the ability of Skype for Business phone users to make and receive phone calls earlier this afternoon. Full service has been restored.

Microsoft is experiencing an issue with its Skype for Business service that is affecting the ability of Skype for Business phone users to make and receive phone calls. Calls to and from external (non-University) numbers are affected, as well as calls to and from internal University numbers that are not on Skype for Business. Internal calls between Skype for Business users are not affected. In addition, Skype for Business voicemail is not accessible at this time, and users are unable to leave new voicemail messages or check existing messages.
Microsoft is aware of the issue and working to restore service as quickly as possible. Updates will be posted as they become available.
