Microsoft’s FindTime Meeting Polling Feature is Changing

Thursday, September 28, 2017 - 09:14

Microsoft has announced that its FindTime meeting polling feature will be discontinued as an add-in for the Outlook desktop client on Oct. 1, 2017. It will be replaced by a feature called “Poll for a Time to Meet” that provides the same functionality directly through Outlook on the web (Office 365 Email).

You can begin using Poll for a Time to Meet today:

  1. Log in to your My Pitt Email from a web browser.
  2. Open your calendar.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow next to New and select Poll for a time to meet.

Any meetings where FindTime voting has closed and the meeting has been scheduled will be unaffected by this change. However, please note that any FindTime meeting polls that are still open and not finalized by Oct. 1 will be discarded.
