If you use the University’s Secure Remote Access service (http://sremote.pitt.edu), we encourage you to begin using the Pulse client when you need to connect remotely. The Pulse client is the recommended method for establishing a remote desktop connection to your office computer or for accessing departmental databases and servers that reside behind network firewalls. It is easier to use and delivers faster performance than the existing Network Connect client.
The University is in the process of phasing out the existing Network Connect client, so we recommend you download and begin using Pulse today. You can download the Pulse client from the Software Download Service at My Pitt. Please note that you must be an administrator on your computer to install the Pulse client.
