Technical Requirements

• A currently supported desktop operating system.
  
  Acceptable Windows operating systems include: Windows XP with Service Pack 3 or Windows Vista with Service Pack 1. The server editions of these operating systems are not supported for Faculty Computing.
  
  Acceptable Macintosh operating systems include Mac OS X (10.4.11 or higher). OS 9.x and Classic under OS X are not supported.

• Currently supported hardware specifications. Both new and existing equipment must meet or exceed CSSD's Recommended Configurations for New and Existing Computers.
• Connection to a PittNet Ethernet port (or Wireless Pittnet), and the operating system correctly configured for TCP/IP network connectivity.
• Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 6.x or later, Firefox Web browser software, versions 3.x or later, or Safari Web browser software, versions 3.x or later, installed on the system.
