Resolved: Amazon has resolved the issue with its Amazon Web Services that earlier today affected a number of University services. All services have now been restored.

Update: the Amazon Web Services issue is affecting some components of additional University services, including pitt.box.com, CourseWeb, Electronic Lab Notebooks (LabArchives), lynda.pitt.edu, and some content on the University Library System site (library.pitt.edu).

Amazon Web Services, a cloud infrastructure provider, is experiencing an issue with its storage service that is affecting access to sites and services across the Internet. The issue is affecting some University services, including My Pitt Video and the Pitt App Store, as well as non-University services such as Quora, Slack, Trello, Coursera, Expedia, and others. Amazon is working to resolve the issue. Updates will be posted as they become available.
