Network Maintenance During Aug. 13 and Aug. 20 Standard Downtime to Affect Several Buildings

Network equipment will be upgraded during two upcoming standard downtime periods on Saturday, August 13 and Saturday, August 20. Work will begin at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday night and is expected to be completed by 5:00 a.m. on Sunday morning during both maintenance periods.

During the maintenance periods, wired and wireless network service will be unavailable for the Pittsburgh campus buildings listed below.

 August 20 Maintenance: Buildings Affected

Although the maintenance is scheduled to end at 5:00 a.m., network service will be restored earlier if work is completed ahead of schedule. This maintenance is necessary to enhance the stability and reliability of the network.
