Microsoft Ends Support for Internet Explorer 8 on Jan. 12

Microsoft has announced that they will end support for their Internet Explorer 8 Web browser effective January 12, 2016. After this date, critical security updates will no longer be made available for Internet Explorer 8. Users of Internet Explorer 8 are urged to upgrade to the most recent version of Internet Explorer as soon as possible.

Many Web-based services are also ending their support for Internet Explorer 8. Box has announced that they are ending support for Internet Explorer 8 effective December 31, 2015. Box users who do not upgrade to a more recent version of Internet Explorer by December 31 will not be able to use certain pitt.box.com features. A complete list of Web browsers supported by Box is available on Box’s Web site.
