CSSD's Expert Partners program is a primary means for CSSD to communicate and interact with information technology professionals working in departments and business units throughout the University. Monthly meetings cover topics of common interest such as security, new technology services, and system upgrades. The meetings, generally held on the last Friday of the month, also provide Expert Partners with the opportunity to meet and address issues with CSSD managers. Feedback gained from Expert Partners is invaluable to planning, implementing, and managing the quality of CSSD's services.

The Expert Partners' portal community at my.pitt.edu provides members with various resources and detailed information concerning services. Any staff member who supports information technology services for a University department, school, or business unit is welcome to join by registering through my.pitt.edu. To register, complete the following steps:

1. Click the My Communities menu and select Join Communities.
2. Type Expert Partners in the Search for Communities box and click the arrow to search for it.
3. Check the box next to Expert Partners Registration and click Finish.
4. Click the My Communities tab again and select Expert Partners Registration.
5. Click the Registration link and submit the online form.
