Top Help Desk Questions

I've exceeded my IMAP email quota and can't delete my messages in Webmail.

If you do not purge messages after deleting them, they will continue to take up storage space in your mailbox. You can change your Webmail preferences to make deleting messages easier. Within Webmail, click on Options at the top of the Webmail screen, then go to Folder Preferences. There is a drop-down menu that will be set to "Trash Folder." Set this to "Do Not Use Trash," then submit this change. Note that this change will delete messages without first sending them to your Trash folder. If you like to use your Trash folder, then you'll want to reverse this change after you are under your email quota.

Important Note:  If you exceed your quota, you will receive an Over Quota warning message.  You will need to permanently delete messages until you are again under the email quota.  Once you are over quota, any messages you delete will be permanently deleted without being moved to your Trash folder. You will not be able to restore these messages
