Extended Maintenance Period Scheduled for RIDC Computer Facility Electrical Upgrade Work

Electrical Upgrade work has been scheduled for the RIDC computer facility during an extended maintenance period scheduled from 10:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26 to 7:00 a.m. Sunday, July 27. This work involves one of the two redundant electrical power feeds supporting the facility. Because of this redundancy, University enterprise services including email systems, the Student Information System (PeopleSoft), CourseWeb, PRISM, and other critical services will continue to be available while upgrade work is completed.
