Verizon Wireless Data Service Problem Affecting Users in Northeastern United States

Verizon Wireless is currently experiencing a data network service outage that is affecting the ability of its cell phone, BlackBerry, and other wireless devices from sending and receiving email messages and accessing Internet services. Verizon customers can continue to place and receive cellular telephone calls. Verizon has not provided a time frame for restoration of its data network service. Updates to this announcement will be posted as additional information is made available. This problem is affecting only Verizon Wireless customers.
